  • Employee Housing

    All International Work & Travel Visa associates have the opportunity to stay at our employee housing facility or a location of your choosing. Scheduled shuttle service is available to and from The Abbey Resort and the housing retreat center. Roommate requests cannot be guaranteed. Students are responsible for their own personal property and are encouraged to leave valuables and personal mementos at home as space is limited in each room. Please refer to your housing contract for rules and guarantees.

  • Weather

    Wisconsin has four distinct seasons. Be sure you pack accordingly for the time you will be with us!

    • Summer (June-September): Weather can be very hot and humid. Temperatures may reach as high as 100*F (38*C).
    • Spring (March-June) and Fall (September-November): Weather is typically mild and sunny. The days are warm 65-75*F (18-24*C) but the evenings and nights are cooler and require a jacket.
    • Winter (November-March): Weather is very cold, sometimes as low as -30*F (34*C). Snowfall is expected and heavy winter coats, gloves, scarves, hats and boots are needed.
