Murder Mystery Dinner: Good Riddance! A Gnarly 1990's Murder Mystery, Dude!
Your mission, if you choose to accept it: untangle the murder mystery while navigating through ’90s pop culture references. Bring your appetite for a three course dinner and dress the part as The Murder Mystery Co. guides you through this interactive program for ages 18 and up.
Friday, October 2 | 7:00pm - 9:00pm | $79 per person (plus service fee)
Lakeside Laughs Comedy Nights
Our popular Lakeside Laughs Comedy Nights return! Leave your cares at the door for an evening of comedy featuring amazing comedians. You'll leave with your sides aching from laughter. A cash bar will be available. Open to the public. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

Geneva Lakes Antique and Classic Boat Show
The Geneva Lakes Antique and Classic Boat Show is an annual event held in the Abbey Resort’s harbor, presented by the Blackhawk Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. This year's show will feature classic and vintage boats from all over the country with a parade of boats on Saturday. The show is open to the public and has free admission and parking. Get Out Into Nature
Enjoy the gorgeous golden hues, the sound of crisp leaves underfoot, and the earthy fragrance of fall when you throw on a comfy sweater and head outdoors.
The Lake Geneva Shore Path is located just steps away from our resort and can provide a walk that lasts a half hour or even a full day. Explore some or all of the 26 mile public pathway around the lake that passes by historic homes, beautiful gardens and local wildlife.
People of any activity level can take in the flora and fauna on a hike at a nature preserve such as Kishwauketoe or in the rolling hills of color in our area state parks. If you prefer to view the colors in the comfort of your car, take a ride on scenic Snake Rd.
Want a little history with your time outdoors? Take a drive to Old World Wisconsin and tour over 60 restored historic structures on over 600 acres of property at the edge of the gorgeous Kettle Moraine.

Make it Exciting
The falling temperatures don't mean you have to slow down. Take advantage of the smaller crowds at some of the area's most popular attractions and make your getaway an adventure.
If you love to challenge yourself and see things from new angles, spend some time at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures to take on the ropes course or soar through the trees. If you want to see things from a whole new level, take a balloon ride over the area at sunrise or sunset with Lake Geneva Balloon Company.
Wanna go wild? Drive through the unique conservation-focused ranch of Safari Lake Geneva and feed animals ranging from alpacas to zebras as they come up to your car to say hello.
Get your heart pumping with a good scare, and sign up for one of the Lake Geneva Ghost Walks where you learn about the history and ghostly lore of the town while you tour the area.
If indoor adventure is more your thing, head to the Lake Geneva Clue Room for 60 minutes of mystery and excitement as you try to escape one of their rooms by decoding clues and solving puzzles. Challenge your crew to a round of indoor mini golf, foosball, or cornhole at Area 262, or unleash your inner lumberjack at LG Axe Throwing.

The season brings a variety of unique taste sensations that can only be experienced for a short time. The Lake Geneva area is the perfect place to experience them. Start at our own 240 West for seasonal flavors and an elevated dining experience paired with stellar harbor views.
Feel like warming up with your favorite adult beverage? Stop by Bar West for an Exclusive Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned or one of our other craft cocktails. Heading off property? Visit one of the local breweries, distilleries or vineyards for a little education and a lot of delicious flavor.
Of course, no autumn is complete without visiting one of the local orchards for fresh, crisp apples and ciders, or picking out the perfect pumpkin at an area pumpkin patch.

Retreat Into Relaxation
For some people, the ultimate way to get away is with their feet up, cozy sweater, hot beverage in hand, watching the world go by. If this sounds more like your speed, finding a way to decompress and escape is easy! The perfect place to start is in Avani Spa. Enjoy a pampering service in our expansive, relaxing spa and lounge beside our Avani Atrium Pool and let your stresses melt away.
If you're looking for a laid-back tour of the area, make it a unique one and take a cruise on the lake on one of the beautifully restored boats of Lake Geneva Cruise Line's fleet. Their public tours run every day through the end of October with guided narration and sometimes entertainment and cocktails.
Grab a sweater and your favorite fall coffee at Cafe Latte, then head into downtown Lake Geneva for some leisurely shopping. After a slow-paced day of browsing, cuddle up with some popcorn and a movie at Emagine Geneva Lakes.
