Get ready for a night full of howls and belly laughs as Lakeside Laughs Comedy Night returns to The Abbey Resort! Hosted by the always-hilarious Jose Montero, this evening of stand-up promises side-splitting fun and carefree vibes.
We're excited to welcome two headliners to the show!
Chris Schlichting, a comic who grew up on the mean streets of Iowa and chose stand-up over joining the notorious Midwest gang known as “The Farmers.” Described as “hilarious” by his mom and “not good at sports” by his dad, Chris delivers an irresistibly immature and lovable style. His act dives into life’s hard-hitting issues like squirrels, sandwiches, and raising twin boys—guaranteed to leave you laughing and wanting more.
Kevin Wood brings over a decade of comedy experience to the stage, you may have heard him on 104.9 x morming show, Kevin has worked at the Chicago Improv and many other clubs across the midwest. His takes on working in retail, gaming in his forties, weddings, and more make him a strong and hilarious edition to any comedy lineup.
