Winter Recreation - Just because there's a chill in the air or snow on the ground, it doesn't mean you have to stay indoors. When you're at The Abbey Resort, it's easy to hit the slopes, go for a cross country ski, or even take the family on a sleigh ride - then head back to a hot, delicious dinner and a cozy fireplace. Note: The outdoor pools are now closed for the season. They will reopen again next spring.
Volleyball - a large sand court located near the West Shore Pavilion.
Basketball - Basketballs and an outdoor court are available for casual or competitive games.
Bicycling - Mountain bikes for men, women, and children a well as tandem bikes are available to check out to hotel guests. Bikes are complimentary to overnight guests, identification is required to sign out equipment.
Bonfires – Year-round public bonfires (weather permitting) are open to any guest of The Abbey Resort are lit every Friday and Saturday night. Private bonfires can also be arranged for groups.
Lawn Games - Bocce, lawn dice, lawn darts, croquet, horseshoes, badminton are all complimentary for resort guests.
Indoor Games - Board games, decks of cards, poker chips and cards are all complimentary for resort guests.
