The Abbey Resort Appoints a New Seasoned Sous Chef
Joshua North Rounds Out the Prestigious Culinary Team at The Abbey Resort

FONTANA, Wis. – May 3, 2011 – David Lindelow, general manager of The Abbey Resort & Avani Spa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua North as sous chef at the only full-service resort on the shores of Lake Geneva, Wis. North will work alongside Executive Chef Steve Walters at the Fontana Grill and the revitalized Waterfront Restaurant.

Formally trained at the Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago, North has more than 15 years of experience in the culinary industry. The accomplished chef specializes in eclectic cuisine and counts slow cooked bison short ribs as one of his signature dishes. Prior to joining The Abbey, North spent five years at head chef of The Hunt Club and Legend's Tavern at the Geneva National Golf Club, a premier residential golf community in Lake Geneva.

The dynamic duo of Chef Walters and Sous Chef North will oversee The Abbey's seasonal offerings at both resort restaurants, The Waterfront Restaurant & Bar and the Fontana Grill.
