With the Changing of Leaves, Comes New Events at The Abbey Resort
A new season is rustling in; enjoy the cool weather and events for the fall season

FONTANA, Wis. – Sept. 16, 2011 – As the brisk air trickles in, The Abbey Resort & Spa plays host to a variety of fall events. From antique boat shows to beer festivals, the fun does not stop at the resort. The Abbey creates a beautiful scene as the foliage turns from green to vibrant shades of red, orange and yellow.

Along with the new season brings in activities for all the family to enjoy; head out to the patch to find your perfect pumpkin or sip on some hot apple cider to warm you on those crisp autumn days. Grab a partner and snuggle under the stars for one of the nightly bonfires that the resort offers.

“The fall brings a plethora of activities to do at The Abbey Resort and the Lake Geneva area. The iconic land paints a breathtaking picture in the fall; the colors have changed creating a brand new atmosphere,” said David Lindelow, general manager of The Abbey Resort & Spa. “In addition to the colorful ambiance, The Abbey will be hosting the International Antique and Classic Boat Show, a Women’s Half Marathon, Beer and Spirits and much more.”
